SNAP® C

TRANSDERMAL DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM (TDDS)

NANOVESICLES WITH 15% (L)-Ascorbic acid, 3.0% 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbate, 2.0% Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate

An innovation designed for the deepest dermal routine, featuring 100–300 nm lipid bilayer shell technology that is highly compatible with the skin’s stratum corneum. It is engineered for controlled and slow release into the dermal layer, while enhancing bioavailability and bio-efficacy, and offering high stability against light, heat, and high-shear processing.

Mode of Action

Mode of Action

Antioxidant Radical Scavenging

As a powerful antioxidant by donating electrons to neutralize reactive oxygen species (ROS), such as free radicals generated from UV exposure and environmental stress.

ROS Neutralization & Oxidation Protection

During the antioxidant process, L-Ascorbic Acid is oxidized into Dehydroascorbic Acid (DHA) after neutralizing ROS.

Collagen Synthesis Stimulation

An essential cofactor for collagen-producing enzymes (prolyl hydroxylase and lysyl hydroxylase), supporting stable collagen formation and improving skin firmness and elasticity.

Protection Against Photoaging

By reducing UV-induced oxidative stress and supporting collagen preservation, Vitamin C helps protect skin structure from photo-induced aging, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin.

Key Ingredient

Key Ingredient for skin

L-ASCORBIC ACID

Provides direct antioxidant activity, supports collagen synthesis, and inhibits melanin formation.

3-O-ETHYL ASCORBATE

Stable Vitamin C derivative that supports tyrosinase inhibition and skin tone improvement.

ASCORBYL TETRAISOPALMITATE

Oil-soluble Vitamin C derivative with high skin affinity and improved stability.

Benefit of Nanoencapsulation

Benefit of Nanoencapsulation

Optimized Penetration Dimension with 100 – 300 nm , each niosome is small enough to navigate the intercellular lipid pathway of the stratum corneum while remaining large enough to avoid systemic absorption, maintaining a topical-localized action. It’s enhanced deposition in the viable epidermis and upper dermis and superior bioavailability of both hydrophilic and lipophilic actives through dual-phase distribution.

INCI & Dosage

INCI, Dosage & Recommendation
